Plot Summary[]

Along with Kevin’s loyal confidante (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.

Tron Legacy Soundtrack[]

In March 2009, it was announced Daft Punk was signed to write the score to the film TRON: Legacy. At the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con, it was announced that the duo composed 24 tracks for the film. Daft Punk even made a cameo appearance in the film as disc jockey programs at a nightclub within the film's virtual world. TRON: Legacy co-star Olivia Wilde also stated that the duo may be involved with future promotional events related to the film, but Daft Punk later stated they would not play it live or remix the tracks, as they wanted "the soundtrack tied to the film forever." Fans could preorder the soundtrack specially included with a glow-in-the-dark poster of Daft Punk as they appear in the film. The soundtrack was released on December 7, 2010, along with a special edition version with five bonus tracks.
