Stardust was a one-time band consisting of Thomas Bangalter, Alan Braxe and Benjamin Diamond.

HistoryEdit

The band released it first (and only) song on 1998, titled "Music Sounds Better with You" which suddenly became popular. The song samples "Fate" by Chaka Chan.[1]

It was recorded in Paris, by Daft House Productions, where Bangalter, along with Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, works. It is said that the song was conceived at the Rex Club, where the trio were playing a live set. Both Bangaler and Braxe made the instrumental, while Diamond sang.

The song reached #2 in the United Kingdom[2] and spent two weeks at #1 on Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart[1] in the United States in August and October 1998 respectively.

The members has not worked together since. The all took their solo careers, while Bangalter along with his partner Guy-Manuel, released their second studio album Discovery.
