"Daftendirekt" is the first track of Daft Punk's debut album Homework. The total length of the song is 2:45.

The song gave the name to the promotional tour for Homework, Daftendirekt tour, in which mostly all the songs from the album were mixed together. An album was featuring a small snippet of a live recording later released as Alive 1997.

The song was later used in the Alive 2006/2007 tour, in where it was mixed with "Da Funk".

Composition

It contains the lyrics "Da Funk Back to the Punk C'mon" and is repeated throughout the whole song. It also features some little elements from "Da Funk".

In an interview with DMA Magazine, Thomas Bangalter revealed that “Daftendirekt" was ‘a live track’.[1]
